Thinger.io server deployment backup

Hello thinger.io community,

I have a pretty basic questions to many of you. Is there a fast backup method build into thinger.io server deployment that backs up the database, along with all the thinger.io info , ie dashboards, devices and such.

I have the server deployed on Ubuntu server 16.04.

Please let me know if you need anymore info.

If you want to backup your Thinger.io instance, the best way is to backup the MongoDB instance… All the information is stored there, like dashboards, devices, etc. Hope it helps!
