Sampling time vs. transmission timestamp

I’m new to thinger, but I’ve had the general problem in IOT systems that when data gets posted to plots, etc., the timestamp is when the server receives the data. This is not always when the data was collected. I’m wanting to use a cell modem which is going to push a bunch of samples every (hour?) to the server that were collected at a more frequent interval. Is there any way to do this?

Thank you all,

Brecky

I think not with thinger, due there is no way that you can tell to the server from the remote unit the dataset´s timestamp, the server uses its own timestamp when receives a data.

I know you can write buckets every 60sec at free server and has no limitation ( <1sec) at on demand plans, in this case maybe the bottleneck its on the network.
