Hi,
:
Finally, after having recalled my “zero code” solution to get a Thinger Dashboard on Tasmota devices, due to unaccepteble security flaws🥶 ,
I am now proud to present my new safe solution to integrate Tasmota devices.
Most Tasmota devices can still only issue unencrypted MQTT, but will communicate inside the protected home WLAN with my new ESP8266 bridge, which will translate MQTT into thinger.io secure protocol to communicate with the “WildWestWeb” .
The bridge can talk to up to four Tasmota devices and integrate the data into one Thinger.io device with all the advantages of the lean protoson secure communication.
Enjoy the new possibilities !
And it’s only the beginning: new Tasmota and non-Tasmota devices will join the family…
You just need a bare ESP8266. That’s it, no soldering no tinkering required.
And if you just need up to 4 Tasmota plugs, I provide a precompiled binary that can be patched an uploaded with GitHub - rin67630/ESP_Binary_patcher: Patch user's credentials into ESP binaries
