IP address of Data bucket

Can i post data to the data bucket by using its Ip adrress if so how do i find out the IP address of the data bucket.

Secondly if not is there any other way of sending data to thinger using an ip adress.
I have device that can send its data but it comes with software that asks for the place for it to be sent in the form of an IP adrress thanks

I know that there is a way by the platform’s api, you can generate a token to write a specific bucket, I haven’t done something like that, but surely you will need more than the ip address to write in the bucket.
