Device State Information

How can I retrieve the following device state information online/offline to display the text on my dashboard?

An easy functionality that addresses this need has been requested for a long time, but it does not exist yet.

Some alternatives:

  • Update a device property with the thinger.set_property method from the Arduino-Thinger library.
  • Use NodeRed to capture the device connection status and update a device property.

please note that you can on every widget display the connection state in the right top corner of that widget.
Just activate “show offline”

Already done with show offline in widget.
But I need online/offline text value. And it works with NodeRed.
