Cannot delete device from cloud

Hi all,

One of my devices is showing online while it has been disconnected for more than 2 hours.
I would like to delete it, but the portal would not allow me to, giving me the message:
" Ooops! Cannot process your request. Error 400 (ESP8266_01 - device is connected)".

However when I want to request the API it says:
" Ooops! Cannot connect to your device! Is it connected?"

How can I fix this? Does anybody have some suggestions?

I contacted support and they disconnected the device.

Just noting that this issue is happening on my account in early February 2019.
